Carpentry Workshop

The objective is to help youth gain carpentry knowledge. Hire Hope contains a carpentry shop that will allow students to gain knowledge of basic carpentry.

Students will be assigned to work on a predetermined carpentry project.

The following will be presented:
– Carpentry and Construction Industry Introduction
– Safety and Work Habits Training
– On-the-job Training on Selected Carpentry Project
– Making Work Products.
– Quality Control.
– Marketing products.

Five students will be assigned to participate in each four month training program.

Selection and placement of students in each group will be dependent on personal interest and the individual.
